Remaining rewards, that is. Because the final reward from our Kickstarter campaign is ready to go out to backers today.
The Technocracy Reloaded fiction anthology was introduced as a novella Stretch Goal reward and then expanded via additional achievements during the campaign.
MELODY THROUGH THE MIRRORSHADE LENS
What does the Technocratic Union agent see through those reflective lenses? How many hours of interrogation footage, archives of dossiers, gone over one more time, again and again? What song of Enlightened trigonometry beams before their eyes the trajectory of the reality deviant, or the fastest Route to cover in a firefight? Imagine vast mugshot archives of unmutual hackers, “magick” grifters, and monstrous fiends. Picture the boundless feed of fearful information scrolling from top to bottom of the glass, perpetually keeping them at odds with the so-called mages, and the wicked truths that keep the agent believing they’re saving the world.
There are those who believe it accurately, and their stories are the ones most worth telling. Elite, isolated researchers and Iteration X rookies alike understand why their work is so harsh and thankless, but they can both share the same vision of a peaceful future, as seen through their own Enlightened lenses. Staring through the screens, the question that deserves asking is this: how deep can this infinite calculus permeate? Into the eyes? Into the mind? Into the soul, and time, and beyond? If pushed, how could it not go beyond? How could it not go beyond, and how could it possibly stop?
Gaze long enough, and what gazes back?
Melody Through the Mirrorshade Lens is a compilation of four novellas surrounding the infamous Technocracy and its predecessor — the Order of Reason.

This is the first version of Melody Through the Mirrorshade Lens to be released. The writers and development teams have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. If you catch any typos, odd references, visual glitches, and the like, we want to hear about them and correct them before we send the book off to print.

Generally, Onyx Path tries to keep errata collection open for the next 2 weeks, so please report what you can as soon as possible to make sure they're getting everything covered.

Also, they already know about any Page XX notations - those are usually corrected after any changes are made and the books are being finalized.
After any needed corrections are made (based on your feedback!) and the page numbers are finalized, Onyx Path will prepare updated final versions of the book and you will receive a notice from DrivethruFiction that you can re-download your file with the latest versions.
You've already made the book a reality with your Kickstarter support. Now you can make it even better by helping us crowdsource any minor errors and corrections.

Melody Through the Mirrorshade Lens (Update #77, Dec 7, 2022)
FINAL REWARD LINK DISTIRBUTED
That's our final reward link out to backers, and likely my final update for this project. Depending on your communication preferences with DriveThru, you will get an e-mail once Melody Through the Mirrorshade Lens has been finalized and new versions are available to download from DriveThruFiction (likely in multiple formats). Again, that won't be a new reward or new link sent out via BackerKit - once it's finalized, the file will just be updated on the DriveThru platforms and you'll be able to download the latest version at your convenience.
With all reward links distributed, I will be leaving the BackerKit pledge manager active for another 4 months - until April 15, 2023 in fact. You'll be able to access your digital reward redemption codes from your BackerKit page up until that date. Once you redeem your digital rewards, they will continue to be available in your DriveThru library, so this should only concern those who haven't yet clicked their links for any rewards to be received.
At this point, any Backerkit pages with incomplete surveys or unpaid pledges have be closed and considered completely fulfilled. We're in the final days of August, so it's time for our regular bi-monthly status check in. We've only got one reward left to go in this campaign, so let's see how it's progressing.

Our novella anthology, Melody Through the Mirrorshades, has had the manuscript reviewed and approved to move forward, and is now in post-approval development before a final round of editing. Hopefully it will continue to move quickly.

It's been just over three months since we first received the backer PDF version of our Stretch Goal companion, and the Onyx Path team collected your feedback and notes. They've now finalized all of the bits and pieces thanks to your feedback, locked in the page numbers and index, and are releasing it today! You will be able to download the finalized PDF from your DriveThru digital library later today - or any time in the future at your convenience. Just check your DTRPG library and look for recent updates.

STRETCH GOAL REWARDS STILL PENDING
Alt text: The novella anthology is now in development. The digital wallpaper is ready to go at any moment, just waiting for a few technical checks to clear.
This project has had quite a journey over the past year. First the cascading effect of the pandemic on printing and manufacturing pushed the print schedule by at least 6 months, and then when we finally did get the book printed it had the frustrating production error with the bookmark and the weird rubbing issue with the packing material and the silver foil cover. Working Magick generates paradox, and this one has certainly felt it's share. Despite all of that, we've got two final rewards to go and the big finish line isn't far ahead!
The Novella Anthology is now officially titled "Melody Through the Mirrorshades" and developer Matthew Dawkins has reported in: "We have reached Consensus. These stories are permissible for sharing with the ignorant Sleepers. Be aware that the risk of an improved rate in what some call “Awakenings” is very real, but at this time, is a risk we’ve calculated as worth taking."
Our other remaining reward, the digital wallpaper, is pretty much finished, and just waiting the push of one big red button. If that happens in the next week or so, I'll just add it to the BackerKit distribution schedule and get it out asap, otherwise I'll keep pushing to have it out before the next monthly update.

May 2022 Update

Hello Agents & Operatives,
The past few updates have dealt with shipping out the hardcover reward and some of the paradox generated by the creation of this book. For this update, we'll go back to our regular routine of status check ins to see where we are on our Stretch Goals and remaining project.
ANY WAYWARD BOOKS STILL OUT THERE?
It feels like it's been about six lifetimes since this book in particular shipped out, doesn't it? Maybe that's just me. I guess it was just about 8 weeks ago, but it feels like a lifetime. Anyway, and as far as I'm aware, everything has delivered, aside from a handful that are being sorted this week.
TRACKING INFORMATION
If you were set to receive a hardcover copy of Technocracy Reloaded as a kickstarter reward, your book has shipped and likely delivered by now. If you haven't received it yet, please check your tracking and confirm that it's still en route. Sometimes I'll hear from backers that had no idea the book was being held at a local post office or had delivered to their next door neighbor. The courier and delivery companies keep tracking information for about 6 months, so if you've got any issues, please let me know as soon as possible so we can sort them out. See Contacting James below. By, let's say, September we may not have access to full tracking information. At that point, I'm going to assume that everything went fine, so if you have an issue please contact me as soon as possible.

The Onyx Path team have proofing copies of the Operative's Dossier Print-on-Demand book on order so they can do final proofing on that. Once it's completed, they'll upload the final version to DriveThruRPG and we'll have discounted order codes for the PoD version. DriveThruRPG will send a notification about the revised version being available, and you'll be able to re-download the latest version from your digital library at any time.
Our novella anthology is finishing up with the writers before moving on to the developers and editors for their work, and the digital wallpaper is pretty much done, just in need of a few sign-offs before it goes out. So, moving along.
